Happy Friday!

Yesterday’s Recap

I’ve officially closed out the SNDK trade with a very nice gain. This leaves us only holding the BABA contracts that We picked up yesterday. Those contracts are slightly red, but essentially flat so far. Being dated out in July, we’ve got some time for those to wake up for us!

Today’s Order Flow

SPY - $670C - 3/13 Exp

Late-day SPY call sweeps hit the tape with nearly $1M in premium targeting the 670 strike expiring March 13. The contracts were bought aggressively at the ask during the final minutes of trading with SPY around 666, suggesting traders positioning for potential upside into tomorrow’s session.

These contracts are “0dte” or zero days to expiration. Basically, this is the most risky type of contract to enter into. If you are directionally correct, you can be rewarded quite handsomely. If you are directionally incorrect, be prepared to lose money fast.

I don’t have a position in this contract at the time. It came in too late in the day to really evaluate the trade. I’ll be watching the market open though to see if we get a nice push upward with SPY. That could make this a quick in and out for me if all aligns.

If you do enter into a trade like this, be sure to take your gains when you have them. These things can turn quickly and leave you holding the bag if you aren’t careful.

The Closing Bell

Friday’s generally mark the end of a contract for major stocks with volume. There will be a ton of 0dte contracts that look enticing. Remember, they can be rewarding but if you don’t have a strategy or if you are just guessing they will humble you very quickly.

We’ve had an excellent week of trades. Don’t give up those results in 1 high risk trade on a Friday. Size appropriately and pick your spots.

This puts a wrap on the first full week of the “OPG Order Flow” newsletter.

Thank you all for reading and for making this fun. We’ve made some killer trades this week. My goal is to keep helping you find good positions and make some money!

Have a great Friday and a great weekend.

You’ll be hearing from me on Monday.
