We can see the moves happening before they happen thanks to overlaying current price and actively measuring gamma and gamma rate of change to see where dealers are going to take markets.

This is our recurring segment where we monitor what Wall Street whales are doing on a daily basis. Here is the most interesting order flow of the day.

GOOG continues to be on a tear. When smart money is piling on at a key psychological resistance point you have to pay attention. Is GOOG to $400 a sure thing by 5/15? Of course not. However, Whales were pilling on and the way GOOG has been moving I believe it is certainly more than possible. Keep an eye on this one as it definitely has some value. The flow was solid and the technicals are clear for more run on GOOG.

More all time highs for SPY. We have cleared and surpassed 720 in premarket trading which currently is the biggest node on the gamma index. I will be keenly watching for a move into 725. The key is to watch for the gamma buildup in real time. If 725, which already has some sizable positioning, builds up to 1B+ then a move to test that range is very much on the table.

Yesterday, I went long on $718 calls based on what I was seeing play out on the gamma in the afternoon hours. This contract was up a nice 20% at close yesterday and should open up at least another 20% today upon open. I’ll be holding for a bit to see if we do make a push towards 725.
