Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we share the most notable options flows by smart money from the previous trading day.

This one is obviously very short dated as in it expires at the end of today. I share this as it’s the most notable trade that triggered my alerts yesterday but it’s not necessarily something you should trade. I don’t have a position and don’t plan to with this one. That being said, I love tracking these trades. This one came in at the end of the day and I love seeing how these trades perform and if they ever go in the money or not. I’ll be tracking this one and obviously it has a good shot to trade up and in the money today based on the green market action in the premarket.

We made it there yesterday afternoon and it appears we are staying in a positive gamma environment today. Positive gamma gives us a little more controlled trading. We saw that yesterday as even after the large spike upwards in the afternoon then SPY settled into a controlled grind upwards. These environments do tend to be easier to trade which I am sure is a welcomed relief for everyone. Right now as I type this 750 has the most exposure today. That doesn’t always mean that we trade up to this range but it’s worth keeping an eye on. We will see how gamma repositions as the market opens and we are able to read it in real time.
