Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we highlight the most significant options purchases by smart money from the previous trading day.

This AMZN contract came in right at market close yesterday but this was already a stock on my radar prior to that. This alert was confirmation to me today that I believe the stock is going up. I think technicals, sentiment, and flow align. This is obviously a 0dte short dated option, though. You have to be careful with these as they can burn you when you are wrong. This is a setup I like, however. I’ll be keeping a close eye on it today and seeing how it shapes up. As I type this premarket it is green from where it closed yesterday and looking promising.

SPY was another bullish grind upwards yesterday. Today I see positive gamma stacked overhead again! We have the potential to slow grind our way upwards throughout the day. 755 currently sits as the main node where gamma is stacked. This would be an initial target based off of how everything looks right now. As always, I prefer to make my final analysis on things when market opens and gamma takes on its final form before the market really starts changing hands. As it sits right now I think that we are looking at another move upwards on the day.
