This flow came in towards the end of the day yesterday and it represents a bearish sentiment towards one of the hottest names of the year thus far. Am i brave enough to be short this name? Probably not. However, I wanted to share it anyways as the volume was pretty high on this one. Someone was loading up on MU puts yesterday and triggered the repeater alert. Definitely something to keep an eye on. I will be watching it to see how it trades today and keeping up with this contract.

Yesterday was an ugly red day for SPY. Today should be interesting as we have gamma stacked pretty evenly above and below. It’s hard to get a super accurate projection of direction when gamma is overlayed in this way. The good thing is that we do not have to use gamma to make predictions. We can use gamma to understand how dealers will react at certain areas. We see that 737 and below really takes us into some heavier negative gamma where the trade can escalate and become more volatile. We see that 741 and above puts us in positive gamma territory and allows a more controlled style of trading. I will wait and see how the gamma looks upon upon and trade accordingly!
