Yesterday I suffered my first loss in 12 days! It was a great run and it happens. I’m excited to get back at it today and start a new winning streak. Despite yesterday’s loss, I am still up 64% and thousands of dollars since starting this trading strategy 12 days ago! I look forward to getting some back today!

Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we highlight the most significant options purchase by smart money from the previous trading day.

This repeater alert came in yesterday on SMCI. Its definitely interesting and SMCI is in a hot industry. This is not a position i hold and simply have it on my watch list to keep tabs on over the coming weeks. Yesterday was a hot day in the market and a lot of alerts came through. Many of them were short dated. I like this one because it has about a month to it before expiration and time to play out. This on is certainly worth keeping an eye on.

SPY is up around a quarter of a percent as I type this premarket. SPY had a massively green day yesterday. I am watching to see if it can keep momentum and pull off another day like that today. We have positive gamma stacked overhead with some small pockets of negative gamma as well. This can actually cause a squeeze if the trend is right. We have some negative gamma below but we’d have to sell off a bit before we reach those areas. All in all, I don’t look for spy to move like it did yesterday but it does seem to have the appearance of another green day in the making today.
