I waited for the market to go live today to give you a different look of SPY gamma and how we trade it. Take a look at this chart:

This is one of the key charts I use to trade each day. I can see where gamma exposure exists and use that information to predict how price action will react when it interacts with that price range. Here we have lots of positive gamma which should act as a volatility dampener. It slows price down as dealers work against the trend. When price is going down the dealers are buying. When price is going up dealers are selling. This makes it easier for us to capture the “spread” in our spread trades as theta and shrinking IV really help us realize the value of our contracts quickly!

Today would be the type of day where I would structure a contract outside of these major gamma zones. I typically target $10 or so per contract. My goal with this strategy is simple. Generate $500 to $1000 daily with this strategy. If I can do that (I have been able to so far) and I can help others do that then we will be in a very strong spot!
