I continue to like the gamma structure that has materialized with institutional dealers on NFLX. I see a stock that has been beaten down tremendously to one of it’s cheapest valuations of all time. There is a positive gamma staircase setup building as we go into earnings this week. As I’ve mentioned before, any time you trade something with earnings involved there is speculation attached and it can go wrong quickly. However, this one looks like it may be worth a small position for me as I trade the gamma exposure build up. I’ll continue to monitor as the markets open today but wanted to at least share it with you.

SPY is down a bit premarket after a weekend filled with geopolitical antics. However, even with all the events going on, SPY is only down .3% as I type this. SPY does seem to be getting less susceptible to some news driven events with the ongoing conflict between the USA and Iran. Structurally we are sitting in a negative gamma zone right now. Positive gamma sits overhead at 755 and negative gamma below. I will wait and see how this positioning regroups as the market opens. Keep in mind that negative gamma brings more volatility and positive gamma brings a steady and controlled grind.
