Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we share the most significant options purchases from the previous trading day.

This urgent repeater alert went off close to market close on Friday. It is one worth paying attention to as it is on LITE and from a hot sector. It has a Friday expiration so keep in mind the short dated contracted and that they can move violently against you. This is not a contract that I bought into but simply one that I will be watching as the upcoming week plays out.

SPY is starting the day slightly in the red as I type this premarket. We have some large pockets of negative gamma below which could escalate a sell off should we enter into those areas. Above we have some positive gamma that could grind the price upwards. It will be a war between the 2 exposure zones today as they are pretty split right now. I will wait for some live readings when the market opens to assess my final direction and how I will end up trading it for the day.
