Welcome to October! Yesterday was yet another day for the live alerts crew and myself! We issue the rare bear call spread above price action yesterday and closed it out profitably as time passed and price action moved price down. I sized down yesterday and also did wait all day to close out so my profit was smaller, but I still collected $536.65 in profit on the day. This also improves our win rate to 50 wins and 2 losses. This pushes my total profits up to $34,553.95 since starting this strategy 52 trading days ago with a new account and only $10,000 in that account.

SPY is currently green premarket as I type this up this morning. Yesterday especially at market close the market flushed. This is where it is helpful to know the data and levels that must be held. 7690 was the early support at open yesterday that held before the market opened. That was the same area that had to hold late in the day or a flush was possible. When that area gave away there was nothing but negative gamma underneath which makes for perfect flush conditions. Today we are back up and green in the early trading hours. We will see if that holds. Markets have struggled to hold their gains as of late and we will see if they can do any better with it today. I am anxious to see how gamma materializes and what reading we can get today in order to help us setup today’s trade. Once I get a good read on price action and where the major gamma exposure areas are I will report my trading plan to subscribers.
