Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we share the most notable flow from the day before by smart money. This is today’s most interesting flow:

This CLF flow definitely looked interesting! CLF is a steel manufacturer but could become key in the A.I. infrastructure buildout. Flow has started rolling into CLF over the past 2 days. We see smart money using sweep orders and filling a lot of those orders on the ask side. These are bullish signals. This is an abnormal amount of volume as well for a stock like CLF. This is another one to keep an eye on. This one is mid dated and the expiration is around 6 weeks out so there is some time for this one to play out.

SPY is down slightly premarket due to some geo political activity. We were down a lot more in overnight markets and it has steadily risen in the premarket as it shakes off the news. As we sit currently, we are right on top of a negative gamma environment and right below a positive gamma environment. This is another one of those times where ultimately we sit at a crossroads. Will gamma buildup above or below current price? That will ultimately dictate direction.

Obviously, we’ve been in an incredibly strong bull market. I’ve been hesitant to play much downside in this market. Even when I see downside on the map I try to wait and go long on a dip as opposed to playing puts simply because of the current market environment. It could end up being one of those types of days.
