Good Morning!

Yesterday made for our 60th official credit spread trade since we started issuing them. It was profitable. This makes us officially now with 58 wins and 2 losses which is an incredible win rate! We continue to only look for the highest quality entry with these trades and allow theta burn and shrinking IV to work in our favor to allow these trades to trend profitably in our favor.

SPY has opened slightly red this morning and is in a pocket of slight negative gamma. There is some additional negative gamma below that we need to be careful with that can cause further expansion to the downside. There is some significant positive gamma exposure as well overhead. Price would need to move up a bit to get into that range, though. Today is one of those classic days where I just need price action to lead me to the move. We can be patient and wait on a move in the market and then we can make our move. I’ll be closely paying attention to how the gamma exposure develops in real time to see if i can get a read on how dealers are positioning for a potential move before it happens. As always, once we get a good idea of what is happening in the market we will formulate our trade plan and issue to subscribers.
