Good Morning!

Yesterday was another great day! We placed 2 trades inside our live alerts group! We had a quick in and out with SPY for 25%. We also entered contracts on CRWV which finished the day up 35% and looks to gap up for a huge gain at market open today!

Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we share the most significant option buys by smart money from the previous trading day. This is what we have for today:

This one is incredibly interesting to be a longer dated contract. Money poured into this position that was nearly 200% out of the money at the time. POET operates in the A.I. space. So obviously if it catches a bid we know what stocks in this industry can do if their sentiment and story align for the market. I don’t have a position in this one yet. I’ll be taking a look at it though. These types of trades are generally longer holds than just a few days. You usually have to wait for the story to play out a bit but they can be incredibly lucrative if you get it right. With millions of bullish activity yesterday on this contract alone, it is worth looking at!

SPY is down a bit premarket today and is currently sitting at some negative gamma exposure. Negative gamma tends to act as an accelerant in whatever direction momentum is taking the market. Our largest pocket of gamma is overhead at 760. It will be interesting to see if we can push back up into positive gamma at 759 and continue grinding upwards or if we have more of a slide in store today. This will all come together as market opens and I can map out the rate of change for gamma in real time and see where dealers are hedging. You can generally find the dealer hedging in the direction the market is about to make it’s move. We will see which way we end up going today.
