Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we share the most significant options purchases from the previous trading day.

This repeater alert came in just before market close but definitely looks interesting. It has around 2 months to play out and is positioned just slightly out of the money. I do believe that it could make a good play however I do not personally have a position in this one as I type this. Anytime there is repeated urgency to enter a contract like their was with this one it definitely peaks my interest. This is one to keep an eye on to see if the contract continues to get volume.

SPY is essentially sitting flat as I type this in the premarket hours. 743 currently offers the largest exposure on the daily and is positive gamma. This could be an initial range I would target at open should we move in the right direction. Ultimately, I always like to let gamma reposition so that I can get a clear and live market view on where dealers may be positioning for the day and that allows me to trade accordingly. Remember, if we are trading in a positive gamma environment it will be more controlled and slow trading. Negative gamma environments are explosive and fast. Take profits quickly and cut losses quickly in this environment!
