Good Morning

Yesterday was a solid day on the trading front. I couldn’t find a spread I was comfortable with based on the gamma structure so I traded a quick directional put for a nice 33.3% return on my capital in just a few minutes. I haven’t been trading directional often but saw a quick opportunity yesterday and took it. It’s always nice to get a return like that in a micro amount of time.

This morning as I type premarket SPY is up around a quarter of a percent. Its showing some relative strength heading into the day with some additional positive gamma overhead. There isn’t a ton of negative gamma showing itself at this time which is a welcomed sight after some bumpy rides last week and red days that showed up. I would like to see price move up and interact with the larger positive gamma price areas. If we can do that you will likely see a more controlled and grind like price action. We need to be watching for any negative gamma that could materialize though. If can always bring expansive movement and that is a big warning sign for any spread you may be in. As always, I will wait and see how the market opens before I make my final call. Once I develop a trade plan I will issue to subscribers in the discord.
