Good Morning!

I thought today would be a good day to review with you all my trading system as it has been a while since I’ve gone over our goal and what we do on a day in and out basis. My goal is to open a daily credit spread on SPY and allow it to expire nearly worthless and accrue most of the value of the premium that we collect. This is a premium collection strategy.

I put $10,000 in an account to sample this out with all of you a few months back and that account is now worth over $50,000. The trades that i’ve given out in the discord have gone well. There have been 61 winners and 2 losers within those trades. It is my goal to provide high quality setups to subscribers every single day and then manage them to the best of my ability. They won’t all win as you can see. We have had a few losers. However, the majority of them have won. Our goal is to have a high win rate and allow the winners to far outpace the losers.

SPY is up around a quarter of a percent this morning as I type this premarket! Negative gamma is very light this morning and there seems to be concentrations of positive gamma above. This could end up being another day of grinding upwards. Don’t forget about FOMC this afternoon and it’s ability to move markets. I don’t want anyone to be caught off guard by the inevitable volatility it will cause. Because of it being FOMC day, I will likely not be trading credit spreads but will be more likely to only trade directional contracts. This can help to ensure I am out of the market when potential volatility comes and then I can begin to trade it from there should I see any opportunities post FOMC. Be careful on days like today and prepare for added volatility. Be sure you are using smart risk management and don’t oversize on days like today!
