Yesterday was another choppy day in the market. My one and only trade generated a quick 20% return on a SPY put. Beyond that, I sat back and watched flow yesterday and waiting for smart money to make moves.

It was another day with sub par whale flow. I didn’t trade any of them. I didn’t recommend our live alerts members share any of them. So I wouldn’t want to share any sub par flow here either.

I will continue to tune in daily and make the most of the whale flows and share with you what I see. The market has been choppy and it seems smart money is committing much funds directionally yet. As soon as we shift back in a certain direction we will see it come through the flow!

SPY is up premarket this morning. We had an ugly close yesterday as we chopped around most of the day and then sank towards the end of the day. Markets reacted negatively to the 10 yr yield reaching it’s highest point since 2007. Yikes. Mortgage rates are flying. Interest rates are flying. Inflation is flying. The market awaits the Fed decision on how they are going to tackle this problem.

Today we have positive gamma stacked up from 736 to 740. This is a good sign for bulls. I want to see how it materializes when the market opens but this is a good start. After the heater the market was on it is natural to cool down and chop around. We can still make money in a chop. You have to be a bit quicker and more precise with your trades and you can also utilize credit spreads and weaponize theta burn to accrue value in your account.
