Good Morning!

Yesterday played out exactly as we had predicted with a grind up to 725 on the day with SPY. Below is an overlay of price and gamma throughout the day:

I had calls yesterday but had to close them for only around a 25% gain as I had afternoon plans and most of the upside came in the afternoon. I decided to take my gains that I had and not risk them while being unfocused. Still happy with the analysis and trade, though!

Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we use options scanning technology to monitor markets in real time to see what Wall Street whales are buying. We filter these for single leg directional trades. This flow should not include any hedges or multi leg trades.

MU hit our scanner a little after the 3 o’clock hour yesterday. What a crazy hit this one turned out to be as the stock is up 17% in the premmarket. Not that this helps you much today… I wouldn’t trade it this elevated already. However, I wanted to show you the effectiveness of our scanner and alert system. These are the alerts that you will get in real time starting tomorrow for all who sign up. I expect this contract to open up massively green today.

SPY is up nicely premarket again today. The largest exposure sits at 730. I expect us to test that 730 range pretty quickly today. Can we break through and hold? I’m not sure. I will have to wait for the real time Gamma data to be available before i can predict if we push through 730 or not.

We’ve already touch that range in the premarket so it shouldn’t be too difficult to revisit it when markets open. This market continues to be very strong and dominated by positive gamma. 724 is where negative gamma really picks up. Be wary if we do lose that range otherwise be ready for a chop between 728 and 730!
