Yesterday was another great day for live alert members. I continued with our new feature of selling daily spreads on SPY. Yesterday yielded $668.05 in profit for me bringing my 6 day total up to $4,744.58 since I started issuing these trades.

Also, the automated alerts were treating people right yesterday as well!

Whale Watching is our recurring segment where we highlight the most significant options purchase by smart money from the previous trading day.

Yesterday was not a great day when it comes to monitoring smart money. There wasn’t a ton of urgency as our options scanner didn’t pick much up. As much as I want to report something here daily, I won’t detail anything just to do it. I want it to be high quality options flow and that is something we didn’t get yesterday. Hopefully we return with an interesting contract tomorrow to highlight in this segment.

SPY has pulled back by about a third of a percent this morning in the premarket! Yesterday saw SPY reclaim positive gamma territory and enter into a slow steady grind up all day. Today we have currently slid back into negative gamma territory with our largest exposure being beneath us at 745. Remember negative gamma moves you around fast and you have to be smart with your trades or you can be punished quickly. Dealers must hedge by accelerating directional moves. Watch for more room underneath if this negative momentum doesn’t slow down premarket.
