Yesterday was another incredibly profitable day for the live alert members! We just completed our 11th straight day without a loss! My credit spread accrued $1,086 in profit yesterday bringing my running total up to $8,852.97 in total profits since we started the daily experiment 11 days ago!

There honestly wasn’t much action yesterday. My alerts were very quiet. I’m guessing large money was mostly sitting idle in anticipation for today’s FOMC meeting. That being said this very short dated contract was alerted yesterday. I thought I would at least share it. Be careful with contracts that are this short dated as they can turn on you quick. I will not be trading this one but someone was loading up on some short dated AAPL contracts yesterday and it was at least worth sharing to all of you here. I’ll keep a watch on it today, though!

SPY regained some ground yesterday and finished green on the day. We are sitting up slightly today as I type this as well. It does appear that we are in a positive gamma environment and could likely remain there today depending on price action. The wild card of the data is the Fed meeting in the afternoon. I’ll be honest, I generally don’t trade on the day the Fed meets. It is a coin flip based on what they decide to do with rates. It takes all of my edge away and turns trading into gambling. Of course I am only referring to short dated types of contracts. However, there isn’t much negative gamma close by on today’s time frame. We could be in for a more controlled day until the fed make their announcements and commentary in the afternoon.
